18 years ago, I had a dream to offer a cooking website to build community through food and hospitality. We must have been onto something- every year, almost 2,000,000 visitors make about 18,000,000 hits at ellenskitchen.com!

Eighteen years ago we had no WordPress, no recipe apps, no way to easily update the site or make the enormous amount of content easily searchable. It was true campfire cooking!

Now it’s time to take this little old kitchen into the modern age!

We have three times as much new material waiting to be posted. We need the internet equivalent of Calphalon pots, Sabatier knives & a Vulcan stove to make this site worthy of the visitors who loyally return from all over the world for help & support to build their communities through food.
